Your work. Your records.
Aircraft Service Attendants: Workplace Records
An aircraft service assignment can include a radio instruction, a change of task and a completion entry made at different times. If a workplace concern centers on an alleged missed task or a disputed shift, put those events in order. A useful account shows what you were asked to do, what you reported and which facts you can confirm from your own records.

What to organize first
Message source
Separate an instruction you heard directly from a message relayed by someone else.
Assignment change
Identify the move between tasks and the handoff information you received.
Completion correction
Keep the date and response to any correction request you were permitted to retain.
Shift evidence
Compare your own time and pay records without treating a service form as a full shift record.
Start with the work you actually do

Distinguish a message from the work it describes
Note when an instruction reached you, whether it was spoken directly or relayed, and the role of the person who sent it. Describe your own acknowledgment separately from a later report that the task was complete. If you only remember the conversation, label it as a recollection. Do not describe a remembered radio message as a recording or take communications from systems you are not authorized to access.
Follow a change between service tasks
If you moved from one assignment to baggage or cargo work, identify the change, its approximate time and who directed it. Record whether someone else took over your earlier task and what you were told about the handoff. A later complaint about an unfinished task should be tied to the specific assignment it concerns. Avoid guessing what another attendant did after you moved elsewhere.
Compare completion entries with your own timeline
For a disputed completion form, note when you entered information and whether you later requested a correction. Keep a permitted copy of your correction request or response, while leaving passenger, aircraft and security details in the workplace system. For a shift or pay question, use your own schedule and time or pay records; a task completion time alone does not establish the start or end of your whole shift.
What these task sources support
O*NET 31.0 lists communicating with dispatchers or other personnel, completing task forms and loading baggage or cargo among aircraft service attendant tasks. The selected entries are dated August 2026. They provide context for organizing records, not aircraft servicing instructions or a statement of your employer's procedures. The suggestions here do not determine whether a particular instruction, record correction or employment decision was proper.
Choose your next step
Review the workplace retaliation guide, unpaid wages guide, or discrimination guide if those concerns fit your experience. A job title alone does not establish a claim.
