Brick and Block Mason Workplace Records

Masonry work can involve establishing reference lines, laying courses and checking alignment as construction progresses. An employment concern should identify the instruction and stage you controlled. Trace layout and course instructions

Record the reference points or drawing version supplied and who approved a change. Note whether you established the layout or continued work prepared by another crew. Distinguish a measurement you checked from a conclusion supplied after inspection, including any question you raised before proceeding.

Explain material and preparation work

List layout, material handling, mortar preparation and cleanup relevant to your own hours or target. Record missing supplies, weather delays or reassignment and the supervisor response. Compare your personal time entry with these duties rather than estimating work from completed wall area alone.

Preserve site records safely

Do not remove drawings, client specifications or materials for personal evidence. Identify relevant inspection or assignment records by type and date. Never return to a restricted site or recreate an elevated task to document the concern; keep your own training and employment messages instead.

Choose your next step

Review the workplace retaliation guide, unpaid wages guide, or discrimination guide if those concerns fit your experience. A job title alone does not establish a claim.
