Recreation Supervisor Workplace Records
Recreation supervisors coordinate workers, training and program schedules while other managers may control budgets or facilities. An employment concern should show those boundaries. Describe your actual authority and the event being reviewed; a supervisory title alone does not establish employment classification or legal coverage.

“Not published” preserves unavailable or suppressed source cells. “Above reporting limit” preserves a top-coded source value without inventing a number. A missing state estimate does not establish service eligibility. The data describe wage and salary employment; they do not measure self-employment income.

Distinguish scheduling from resource approval
Record which shifts or activities you could assign and what required a higher manager’s approval. Note a staffing or facility request and the response. If a program result was attributed to you, identify decisions outside your control without treating them as a complete explanation.
Trace program and training changes
List changes to event schedules, worker procedures or service expectations relevant to your evaluation. Record when staff were informed and what preparation you were assigned. Use your own permitted instructions and feedback rather than copying individual worker assessments or participant complaints.
Keep personnel and patron information separate
Do not retain staff medical records, disciplinary files, participant lists or security procedures in a personal folder. Identify relevant report types and dates for review. Keep your own job description, pay terms and response to management separate from the operational files you supervised.
Choose your next step
Review the workplace retaliation guide, unpaid wages guide, or discrimination guide if those concerns fit your experience. A job title alone does not establish a claim.
