Define the delegated assignment

Record the general support duty, supervising role and time of instruction. Note when you were reassigned or asked to clarify an unfamiliar task. Keep your assigned assistance separate from treatment planning performed by clinical staff.

Describe room and equipment work

List preparation, sanitation and equipment organization duties alongside scheduled assistance. Note when missing supplies or room availability affected the sequence and who was informed. Do not include a patient's condition or response in personal employment notes.

Protect therapy information

Do not copy treatment plans, patient schedules, progress notes or clinical images. Use your own time records and permitted employment or training messages. Identify the official record location and custodian for any authorized review.

Choose your next step

Review the workplace retaliation guide, unpaid wages guide, or discrimination guide if those concerns fit your experience. A job title alone does not establish a claim.
