“Not published” preserves unavailable or suppressed source cells. “Above reporting limit” preserves a top-coded source value without inventing a number. A missing state estimate does not establish service eligibility. The data describe wage and salary employment; they do not measure self-employment income.

Trace the draft through approval

Identify the original brief, your draft submission and the roles responsible for revision and release. If a public statement led to criticism, distinguish what you wrote from what another person approved or published. Note changed instructions and any question you raised before release. Do not assume authorship means you controlled the final wording or the timing of distribution.

Put responsiveness and workload in context

Describe the media or internal communication duties assigned during the relevant period, including changes in coverage expectations. Compare your own schedule and time entries with required preparation or response work. If performance feedback cites engagement or coverage, identify the measure and time window management used. Avoid treating public reaction alone as evidence of why an employment decision was made.

Retain employment evidence without campaign exports

Keep your own permitted role description, review and management correspondence about the employment concern. Do not take contact databases, unreleased announcements, confidential drafts or account credentials. Publicly released material may help identify the date of an event, but it does not establish the private approval history. List relevant internal records by type and date for review rather than copying an entire campaign archive.

Choose your next step

Review the workplace retaliation guide, unpaid wages guide, or discrimination guide if those concerns fit your experience. A job title alone does not establish a claim.
