What to organize first

  1. Vehicle readiness

List the check you performed and when you reported a concern, distinguishing observation from diagnosis.

  2. Dispatch revision

Record the original departure assignment and the later instruction with their respective times.

  3. Shift end

Compare your own recorded finish with the time spent returning and handing over the vehicle.

“Not published” preserves unavailable or suppressed source cells. “Above reporting limit” preserves a top-coded source value without inventing a number. A missing state estimate does not establish service eligibility. The data describe wage and salary employment; they do not measure self-employment income.

Reconstruct the departure

Record the scheduled start, when you received the vehicle and when the required checks ended. Identify any defect you reported and the instruction that followed. A late departure alone does not show whether the cause was equipment, dispatch or your own preparation.

Distinguish route changes

Note the time and source of a revised pickup or vehicle assignment and whether you acknowledged it. Keep the original schedule separate from the later instruction, including any explanation given for a missed stop or extended shift.

Keep passengers outside your file

Use your own time records and permitted employment messages. Do not export passenger lists, destination histories or assistance needs. Identify the date and custodian of a dispatch record that may help a reviewer without copying the underlying passenger data.

Choose your next step

Review the workplace retaliation guide, unpaid wages guide, or discrimination guide if those concerns fit your experience. A job title alone does not establish a claim.
