“Not published” preserves unavailable or suppressed source cells. “Above reporting limit” preserves a top-coded source value without inventing a number. A missing state estimate does not establish service eligibility. The data describe wage and salary employment; they do not measure self-employment income.

Establish the document scope

Record the audience, format and product version assigned at the start. Note when a change required revision to existing material. Keep the original writing assignment separate from a later expansion to additional procedures or products.

Trace technical review

Describe when you submitted a draft, who was expected to verify technical accuracy and when feedback arrived. Distinguish a writing correction from new or revised source information. Record unresolved questions you raised without claiming approval that was never given.

Protect documentation sources

Do not export confidential manuals, unreleased product details or restricted source files. Use permitted employment messages and nonsecret version references. Identify the authorized repository and review history so a reviewer can locate the records appropriately.

Choose your next step

Review the workplace retaliation guide, unpaid wages guide, or discrimination guide if those concerns fit your experience. A job title alone does not establish a claim.
